मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की निगरानी और निर्देशन में आपदा प्रभावित धराली क्षेत्र में राहत और बचाव अभियान युद्धस्तर पर जारी है।

मुख्यमंत्री तीन दिन से उत्तरकाशी में ही प्रवास कर स्वयं रेस्क्यू अभियान की कमान संभाले हुए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने आज सुबह जिला मुख्यालय उत्तरकाशी के निकटवर्ती मातली हेलिपैड में जाकर रेस्क्यू अभियान को लेकर अधिकारियों को जरूरी निर्देश दिए और हेलीकॉप्टर से राहत सामग्री की खेप रवाना करवाई। मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देशानुसार आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्र में फंसे लोगों को निकालने के लिए मातली हेलीपैड से सुबह सात बजे से हेलिकॉप्टर्स की आवाजाही का सिलसिला शुरू हुआ। दोपहर तक 128 लोगों को हर्षिल से हेलिकॉप्टर के जरिए मातली हैलिपैड पहुंचाया जा चुका है। मुख्यमंत्री रेस्क्यू अभियान का जायजा लेने में लिये आज फिर से धराली क्षेत्र के भ्रमण पर रवाना हुए हैं।

आपदाग्रस्त धराली क्षेत्र में प्रभावितों को राहत पहुँचाने और लापता लोगों की खोजबीन का अभियान युद्धस्तर पर जारी है।

बुनियादी सुविधाओं तथा संचार व्यवस्था की बहाली के लिए विभिन्न एजेंसियां निरंतर जुटी हुई हैं। हर्षिल बगोरी में मोबाईल सेवा बहाल कर दी गई है।
