उत्तराखण्ड के पुलिस महानिदेशक दीपम सेठ के द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड में विगत काफी समय से वांछित चल रहे ईनामी बदमाशों की गिरफ्तारी हेतु चलाये जा रहे “विशेष अभियान” के अन्तर्गत ठोस कार्यवाही करने हेतु अपने मातहतों को कड़े दिशा-निर्देश दिये गये हैं जिसके अनुपालन में वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक एसटीएफ नवनीत सिंह भुल्लर द्वारा अपनी सभी टीमों को उत्तराखण्ड़ के ईनामी और गैंगस्टर पर कड़ी कार्यवाही किये जाने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है* जिसके अनुक्रम में आज दिनांक 13-07-2025 को *एसटीएफ की टीम द्वारा* मु.अ.सं. 146/24 धारा 310(2), 311, 111, 249, 238, भा0न्या0सं0 2023 एवं धारा 25(1-b)a, 26 आयुध अधिनियम, थाना खजांची हाट जनपद पूर्णिया बिहार मे वांछित अभियुक्त मो0 राहुल उर्फ मो0 शाकीब पुत्र अब्दुल रफीक निवासी मौलवीबाड़ी अंडाचौक थाना मधुबनी जनपद पूर्णियॉ, बिहार को जनपद हरिद्वार के थाना कलियर क्षेत्र से गिरफ्तार किया गया है।*
*वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक नवनीत सिंह भुल्लर द्वारा मामले की जानकारी देते हुए बताया गया बिहार के जनपद पूर्णिया के खजांची हाट थाना क्षेत्र के तनिष्क शोरूम मे 26 जुलाई, 2024 को 06 अभियुक्तो द्वारा हथियार के बल पर कुल 03 करोड़ 70 लाख रुपए की ज्वैलरी की लूट की गयी थी जिसमें से अभियुक्त चुनमुन झा पुत्र विनोद झा पुलिस एनकाउंटर में मारा गया व अन्य 04 अभियुक्त जेल में है। अभियुक्त मो0 राहुल उर्फ शाकिब घटना के बाद से ही फरार चल रहा था। एसटीएफ की टीम को बिहार एसटीएफ द्वारा सूचना प्राप्त हुई की वांछित अभियुक्त मो0 राहुल उर्फ शाकिब उत्तराखण्ड जनपद हरिद्वार के कलियर थाना क्षेत्र मे रह रहा है जिस पर एस कि एसटीएफ की टीम द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए अभियुक्त मो0 राहुल उर्फ शाकिब को कलियर थाना क्षेत्र जनपद हरिद्वार से गिरफ्तार किया गया।*

अभियुक्त मो0 राहुल उर्फ शाकिब और चुनमुन झा ने अपने गैंग के अन्य सदस्यों के साथ मिलकर वर्ष 2021 मे बिहार के लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी के नेता की हत्या की थी ।बिहार के जनपद पूर्णिया के थाना खजांची हाट थाना पंजीकृत मु.अ.सं. 372/2021 धारा 120बी, 302, 34, 364ए भादवि मे 02 वर्ष की जेल की सजा भी काट चुका था अभियुक्त।
