मुख्य सचिव, उत्तराखण्ड शासन, आनन्द बर्द्धन ने आज टनकपुर/शारदा बैराज, शारदा घाट, किरोड़ा नाला, बूम, बाटनागाड़ एवं श्यामलाताल क्षेत्र का विस्तृत स्थलीय निरीक्षण कर विकास एवं बाड़ सुरक्षा कार्यों की प्रगति की गहन समीक्षा की।
टनकपुर/शारदा बैराज के निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने यहां पर्यटन एवं एरो स्पोर्ट्स की संभावनाओं की समीक्षा की।
शारदा घाट, टनकपुर स्थित शारदा करिडोर परियोजना की जमीनी स्थिति का अवलोकन करते हुए संबंधित विभागीय अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होंने ब्रिडकुल के अधिकारियों से 480 मीटर लम्बे स्पान पुल की विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की तथा निर्माण कार्यों में पारदर्शिता एवं गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए।
मुख्य सचिव बर्द्धन ने बूम व बाटनागाड़ क्षेत्रों में हो रहे भू-कटाव का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने संबंधित विभागों को पूर्ण चैनलाइजेशन के बाद प्रभावी बाड़ सुरक्षा कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। शारदा नदी के तट पर पहुंचकर उन्होंने सिंचाई विभाग को कार्ययोजना तैयार करने के लिए कहा।
माँ पूर्णागिरि धाम आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए मुख्य सचिव ने बाटनागाड़ क्षेत्र का निरीक्षण किया और मार्ग सुधार हेतु आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की परिकल्पना अनुसार चम्पावत जनपद में विकसित किए जा रहे Spiritual Economic Zone एवं Eco Tourism को मजबूत करने हेतु मुख्य सचिव ने श्यामलाताल का निरीक्षण किया।
यहां उन्होंने कृषि, उद्यान एवं एनआरएलएम द्वारा लगाए गए विभिन्न स्टॉलों का अवलोकन किया तथा लाल चावल, लाल धान, मधुमक्खी पालन, स्थानीय उत्पादों को प्रोत्साहन और बाजार उपलब्धता बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया।
