जिलाधिकारी के निर्देशों के अनुपालन में केदारनाथ धाम में प्रथम दिन से सफाई व्यवस्था एवं ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन कार्य सुचारू कर दिया गया है, इस आशय की जानकारी देते हुए सहायक निदेशक शहरी विकास विनोद कुमार ने अवगत कराया है कि नगर पंचायत केदारनाथ एवं सुलभ संस्था के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में प्रथम दिन लगभग 12 क्विंटल ठोस अपशिष्ट कूड़े को एकत्रित किया गया जिसको 5 कैटेगरी में पृथक किया गया जिसमें मल्टीलेयर प्लास्टिक, प्लास्टिक की बोतल, कांच, जूते-चप्पल, प्लास्टिक के थैले एवं कट्टे को पृथकरण किया गया जिसमें लगभग 4 क्विंटल प्लास्टिक को पृथक किया गया।
