श्री केदारनाथ धाम यात्रा 2023 को स्वच्छ एवं सुगम बनाने के लिए केदारनाथ धाम एवं यात्रा मार्ग में बेहतर साफ-सफाई व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित कराए जाने के लिए जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित के निर्देशन में आज गुप्तकाशी, विद्याधाम से जिला प्रशासन एवं सेवा इंटरनेशनल संस्था के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में स्वच्छता जागरुकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया जिसका शुभारंभ जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी/नोडल अधिकारी स्वच्छता अभियान अखिलेश मिश्र, जिला पंचायरत राज अधिकारी प्रेम सिंह रावत एवं सेवा इंटरनेशल संस्था के जिला प्रभारी मनोज बेंजवाल द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया।
जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी/नोडल अधिकारी स्वच्छता अभियान अखिलेश मिश्र ने उक्त आशय की जानकारी देते हुए अवगत कराया कि स्वच्छता जागरुकता रैली में बड़ी संख्या में गुप्तकाशी के विभिन्न सरकारी, गैर सरकारी स्कूलों की उच्च कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों, आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं, नेहरू युवा केंद्र के स्वयं सेवकों, महिला स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाओं, महिला मंगल दल, सेवा इंटरनेशनल के कार्यकर्ताओं, ग्राम प्रधान और स्थानीय जनता द्वारा श्री श्री विद्याधाम से जन जागरुकता रैली गुप्तकाशी के बाजार तक निकाली गई। रैली के दौरान सभी प्रतिभागियों द्वारा पूरे समय स्वच्छता और सफाई संबंधी नारे लगाते हुए मुख्य मार्ग पर पड़े कूड़े को इकट्ठा किया गया तथा दुकानदारों को अपनी दुकानों के आगे सूखे और गीले कूड़े के लिए अलग-अलग कूड़ादान रखने का आग्रह किया गया।
जिला प्रशासन द्वारा दुकानों और वाहनों पर लगाए जाने वाले स्टिकर्स भी लगाए गए। कार्यक्रम के समापन स्थल पर जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी द्वारा उपास्थित जन समुह को संबोधित करते हुए कहा गया कि श्री केदारनाथ धाम यात्रा न केवल पूरी दुनिया में अपनी धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक पहचान के कारण विख्यात है अपितु यह हमारी आर्थिकी का भी बहुत बड़ा संबल है। ऐसी स्थिति में हमारी जिम्मेदारी और बढ़ जाती है कि हम न केवल अपनी दुकानों को साफ सुथरा रखें अपितु कूड़ा-कचरा सही जगह पर जमा कर अपने शहर और पूरे यात्रा मार्ग को स्वच्छ रखें जिससे कि न केवल यहां आने वाले तीर्थ यात्रियों पर इसका सकारात्मक असर पड़े अपितु उनके और मीडिया के माध्यम से पूरे देश दुनिया में उत्तराखंड कि अच्छी छवि बने तथा प्रधानमंत्री जी के स्वच्छ भारत मिशन को भी और गति मिले। इस अवसर पर उनके द्वारा उपस्थित सभी लोगों को स्वच्छता की शपथ भी दिलाई गई। स्वच्छता रैली में प्रतिभाग करने वाले लोगों द्वारा 40 बोरे प्लास्टिक कचरा एकत्रित किया गया।
