मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज मुख्य सेवक सदन में शहरी विकास विभाग द्वारा आयोजित शहर से संवाद कार्यक्रम में  राज्य के सभी नगर निगम एवं नगर पालिकाओं के जनप्रतिनिधियों से संवाद किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने शहरी विकास विभाग द्वारा महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों की सहायता हेतु तैयार तीन वेब पोर्टल लॉन्च किए। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने नगर निकायों के कार्यालयों को डिजिटल करने, रजत जयंती पार्क बनाने, नगर निकायों में वेंडिंग जोन बनाने, भारत सरकार से टाइड फंड को अनटाइड करने का अनुरोध करने की तथा राज्य की प्रत्येक नगर निगम में 10, नगर पालिका में 5 तथा नगर पंचायत में 3 ही-टेक  हेयर सैलून/पार्लर स्थापित करने हेतु स्थानीय महिला एवं पुरुषों हेतु प्रशिक्षण का कार्यक्रम चलाने की घोषणा की। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी नगर निगम के महापौर एवं नगर पालिकाओं के अध्यक्षों सहित विभिन्न स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों की समस्याओं को सुना तथा नोट किया।
नगर निकाय  शहरों की आत्माः सीएम धामी-नगर निकायों के जनप्रतिनिधियों से बातचीत के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि शहरी सरकार नगर निगम और नगर पालिकाएं किसी भी शहर की आत्मा हैं। यह न केवल बुनियादी सुविधाएं जनता तक पहुँचाने का कार्य करती हैं, बल्कि किसी शहर की दिशा और दशा तय करने में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं।
