देहरादून, । मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को मांडूवाला, देहरादून स्थित सरस्वती विद्या मन्दिर में छात्रावास के शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने छात्रावास के शिलान्यास के अवसर पर सभी विद्यार्थियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि यह छात्रावास, छात्रों को आवासीय सुविधा प्रदान करने के साथ उनके सर्वांगीण विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। उन्होंने कहा भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों, राष्ट्रवाद की भावना को पुनर्स्थापित करने के लिए सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर की स्थापना की गई। मुख्यमंत्री ने सरस्वती विद्या मन्दिर मांडूवाला के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा हाल ही में संपन्न हुई 10वीं और 12वीं की परीक्षाओं में शत-प्रतिशत परिणाम प्राप्त करने पर शुभकामनाएं दी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के विद्या समीक्षा केंद्र के गुजरात मॉडल को लागू करने वाला उत्तराखंड , देश का पहला राज्य बन गया है। राज्य के लगभग 16 हजार विद्यालय इस नवाचार से जोड़े जा चुका है। शीघ्र ही प्रदेश के सभी निजी विद्यालयों को भी विद्या समीक्षा केंद्र से जोड़ा जाएगा। जिससे इन विद्यालयों से संबंधित शिक्षकों, छात्रों तथा समस्त शैक्षिक गतिविधियों की जानकारी एक केंद्रीकृत प्रणाली के माध्यम से सरकार के पास उपलब्ध रहेगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा राज्य सरकार प्रदेश में शिक्षा के साथ खेलों पर भी विशेष ध्यान दे रहे है।
