देहरादून,। राजभवन में शुक्रवार को राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) से गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की संसदीय राजभाषा समिति की पहली उप समिति के सदस्यों ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। उप समिति का नेतृत्व राज्यसभा सांसद एवं संयोजक डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा कर रहे हैं। उप समिति के सदस्य तीन दिवसीय उत्तराखण्ड प्रवास के दौरान विभिन्न विभागों के साथ बैठकें कर कार्यालयों में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग की प्रगति की समीक्षा करेंगे।
राज्यपाल ने समिति का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड हिंदी का उद्गम स्थल रहा है और यहां की सांस्कृतिक एवं शैक्षिक परंपराओं में हिंदी का गहरा प्रभाव है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रचार-प्रसार और सरकारी कार्यों में उसके अधिकाधिक प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए उत्तराखण्ड निरंतर प्रयासरत है। उप समिति के सदस्यों में सांसद माला राज्यलक्ष्मी शाह, सांसद रामचंद्र जांगड़ा, सांसद विश्वेश्वर हेगड़े कागेरी, सांसद सतपाल ब्रह्मचारी, सांसद राजेश वर्मा, सांसद किशोरी लाल, सचिव राज्यपाल रविनाथ रामन, अपर सचिव स्वाति एस. भदौरिया, उप समिति के सचिव प्रेम नारायण आदि उपस्थित रहे।
