  • उत्तराखंड में समान नागरिक संहिता (Uniform Civil Code – UCC) दिनांक 27 जनवरी 2025 से प्रभाव में आ चुकी है। इसके अंतर्गत, 26 मार्च 2010 से लेकर 26 जनवरी 2025 के बीच संपन्न सभी विवाहों को UCC के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत कराना अनिवार्य किया गया है।

उत्तराखंड में समान नागरिक संहिता (Uniform Civil Code – UCC) दिनांक 27 जनवरी 2025 से प्रभाव में आ चुकी है। इसके अंतर्गत, 26 मार्च 2010 से लेकर 26 जनवरी 2025 के बीच संपन्न सभी विवाहों को UCC के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत कराना अनिवार्य किया गया है।

वर्तमान में, इस अवधि के भीतर हुए विवाहों के पंजीकरण हेतु ₹250 का शुल्क निर्धारित है। हालांकि, राज्य सरकार ने नागरिकों की सुविधा एवं सहभागिता को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया है कि यदि 27 जनवरी 2025 से पूर्व हुई शादियों का पंजीकरण आगामी 26 जुलाई 2025 तक कराया जाता है, तो इसके लिए किसी प्रकार का पंजीकरण शुल्क देय नहीं होगा।

 

इसके अतिरिक्त, वे नागरिक जिन्होंने अपने विवाह को पहले ही उत्तराखंड विवाहों का अनिवार्य पंजीकरण विधेयक, 2010 या किसी अन्य वैयक्तिक कानून (Personal Law) के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत करवा लिया है, उन्हें भी इस पंजीकरण की जानकारी अथवा acknowledgment समान नागरिक संहिता के पोर्टल पर देना अनिवार्य है। यह प्रक्रिया केवल सूचना प्रदान करने के लिए है और इसके लिए भी कोई शुल्क देय नहीं होगा।

 

अब तक समान नागरिक संहिता के तहत 1,90,000 से अधिक विवाहों का सफलतापूर्वक ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण किया जा चुका है। विवाह पंजीकरण की समस्त प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह डिजिटल है, जिससे नागरिकों को बिना किसी कार्यालयीय जटिलता के ऑनलाइन माध्यम से ही पंजीकरण की सुविधा प्राप्त हो रही है। राज्य सरकार नागरिकों से अपील करती है कि वे समय सीमा का लाभ उठाते हुए, शुल्क-मुक्त पंजीकरण की सुविधा का अधिकतम उपयोग करें और UCC के अंतर्गत अपने विवाहों का अनिवार्य पंजीकरण सुनिश्चित करें।
