STF की  एंटी नार्कोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स द्वारा सटीक कार्यवाही करते हुए  नशा तस्करों पर कड़ा प्रहार ।। जनपद चंपावत के थाना टनकपुर क्षेत्र से करीब 24 लाख रूपये की चरस के साथ दो नशा तस्कर *(एक अंतराष्ट्रीय तस्कर)* गिरफ्तार,

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी उत्तराखंड के ड्रग्स फ्री देवभूमि अभियान* के तहत वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक एसटीएफ नवनीत भुल्लर द्वारा ड्रग्स के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करने के लिये STF ( एंटी नार्कोटिक्स) कुमाऊं यूनिट को उत्तराखण्ड के समस्त जनपदों में कड़ी निगरानी रखते हुये कार्यवाही करने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है।

उपरोक्त  आदेश के क्रम में अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक स्वप्न किशोर सिंह व सीओ आर.बी. चमोला के निर्देशन में तथा प्रभारी निरीक्षक STF (एंटी नारकोटिक्स) कुमाऊं यूनिट पावन स्वरुप के नेतृत्व में कल उत्तराखण्ड STF की एण्टी नारकोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स द्वारा थाना टनकपुर क्षेत्र में स्थानीय पुलिस को साथ लेकर संयुक्त कार्यवाही करते हुए आर्य मंदिर के सामने टनकपुर से दो चरस तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया जिसके कब्जे से कुल 4 किलो 30 ग्राम अवैध चरस बरामद हुई ।

अभियुक्त द्वारा पूछताछ में बताया कि वे यह चरस नेपाल से लाकर उत्तराखंड के चंपावत व नेपाल से लगी सीमाओं के जनपदों में ऊंचे ऊंचे दामों में बेचते है।

STF टीम द्वारा पूछताछ में अन्य कई ड्रग्स तस्करों के नाम की जानकारी हुई है जिन पर अलग से कार्यवाही की जायेगी। अभियुक्त का आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड खंगाला जा रहा है।
