अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहकारिता वर्ष के मौके पर अल्मोड़ा के सिमकनी ग्राउंड में रविवार को कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या सहकारिता मेले मैं शामिल हुई। उन्होंने विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों, योजनाओं, हस्तशिल्प, हथकरघा एवं स्थानीय उत्पादों के स्टालों का निरीक्षण किया।

कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने स्टॉल संचालकों से संवाद कर विभिन्न उत्पादों की जानकारी ली और उनके कार्यों की सराहना की।

इस अवसर पर मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि यह मेला स्थानीय उत्पादों को संरक्षण और प्रोत्साहन, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के स्वदेशी अभियान की भावना के अनुरूप है।

कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि सहकारिता ने प्रदेश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की आर्थिकी को मजबूती दी है और इसके माध्यम से गांव-शहर की महिलाएं तेज़ी से सशक्त हो रही हैं।

कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि सहकारिता मेले का उद्देश्य स्थानीय कला, उत्पादों, महिला सशक्तिकरण और स्वरोजगार के प्रयासों को मंच देना है, जिससे प्रदेश के ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में नई आर्थिक संभावनाएं सृजित हो सकें।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान ग्रामीणों को पशुपालन, डेयरी, कुकुट पालन जैसे कार्यों के लिए 10 लाख रुपये तक के ऋण चेक वितरित किए गए। कई ग्राम सभाओं को माइक्रो एटीएम भी सौंपे गए। वहीं, विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले बच्चों को सम्मानित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष महेश नयाल, कार्यक्रम अध्यक्ष कैलाश शर्मा, ब्लॉक प्रमुख नीमा आर्या, जिला सहकारी बैंक लिमिटेड के पूर्व अध्यक्ष ललित लटवाल, विधायक प्रतिनिधि भुवन जोशी सहित कई सार्वजनिक प्रतिनिधि, अधिकारी, और गणमान्य लोग मौजूद रहे।
