चार धाम यात्रा पर आने वाले यात्रियों सहित गढ़वाल मंडल के चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, टिहरी तथा पौड़ी जनपद के लोगों को अब हार्ट सम्बन्धी उपचार श्रीनगर मेडिकल कालेज के बेस अस्पताल में मिलेगा। दरअसल कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) के तहत मेडिट्रीना हेल्थ ग्रुप द्वारा बेस अस्पताल में कार्डिक यूनिट का संचालन शुरू कर दिया है, जिसका शुभारंभ आज सूबे के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने किया। इस अवसर पर मेडिकल कालेज में स्थाई नियुक्ति पाने वाले असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर्स ने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री का जोरदार स्वागत कर उन्हें सम्मानित भी किया।
सूबे के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ.धन सिंह रावत ने आज श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज के बेस अस्पताल में मेडिट्रीना हेल्थ ग्रुप द्वारा संचालित कार्डिक यूनिट का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया। डॉ. रावत ने बताया कि मेडिकल कालेज में कार्डिक यूनिट शुरू होने से इसका लाभ चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, पौड़ी एवं टिहरी जनपद के लोगों को मिलेगा साथ ही चार धाम यात्रा पर आने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों को भी इसका फायदा मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मेडिट्रीना ग्रुप कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) के तहत यात्रा सीजन में कार्डिक यूनिट का संचालन करेगा, इसके उपरांत राज्य सरकार कार्डिक यूनिट को पीपीपी मोड़ पर संचालित करने का निर्णय लेगी। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. रावत ने मेडिकल कॉलेज में नियमित नियुक्त हुए 18 असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसरों को नियुक्ति पत्र सौंपे, साथ ही उन्होंने डॉक्टरों से अपेक्षा की कि वह मरीजों को बेहतर से बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं देंगे, ताकि मेडिकल कॉलेज का नाम ऊंचा हो सके। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने हाल ही में मेडिकल कालेजों में 171 फैकल्टी सदस्यों को नियुक्ति दी है, जिसमें 18 फैकल्टी ने श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज में तैनाती ली है। कहा कि जल्द ही श्रीनगर, देहरादून, अल्मोड़ा और हल्द्वानी मेडिकल कॉलेजों में पर्याप्त मात्रा में फैकल्टी मिल जायेगी। इसके साथ ही जल्द ही रीडर और प्रोफेसर की विज्ञप्ति जारी होगी। जिससे उत्तराखंड के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में डॉक्टरों की कोई कमी नहीं रहेगी।
इस मौके पर मेडिकल कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ. सीएमएस रावत ने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत द्वारा मेडिकल कॉलेज में स्थाई फैकल्टी देने के लिए आभार प्रकट किया है। कहा कि कार्डियक यूनिट खुलने से चारधाम यात्रा के दौरान या स्थानीय स्तर पर यदि कोई गंभीर केस कार्डियो संबंधी आता है, तो उसे जल्द उपचार मिल सकेगा।
मेडिट्रीना अस्पताल देहरादून के सेंटर हेड भावेश मोगा ने बताया कि कार्डियक सेंटर खुलने के बाद 15 दिन के भीतर यहां कार्डियक ओपीडी भी शुरु कर दी जायेगी।
इस मौके पर बेस अस्पताल में एमएस डॉ. रविन्द्र बिष्ट, डॉ. केएस बुटोला, डॉ. व्यास कुमार राठैार, डॉ. एके पांडेय, डॉ. विक्की वक्सी, डॉ. अर्जुन सिंह, डॉ. विक्टर समेत तमाम फैकल्टी मौजूद थी।
