प्रदेश के ग्राम्य विकास मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि उत्तरकाशी जिले के भटवाड़ी विकासखंड अंतर्गत प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना (पीएमजीएसवाई) के तहत निर्मित सड़कों को हर स्थिति में खुला रखा जाए। बुधवार को अपने कैंप कार्यालय में बैठक के दौरान यूआरआरडीए के मुख्य अभियंता को निर्देश दिए कि धराली एवं हर्षिल जैसे संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों में राहत और बचाव कार्यों में कोई बाधा न आए, इसके लिए सड़कों की तत्काल मरम्मत एवं पुनः खोलने की कार्यवाही प्राथमिकता पर की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में आपदा के समय पीएमजीएसवाई की सड़कें वैकल्पिक जीवन रेखा का कार्य करती हैं। ऐसे में कोई कोताही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। बंद सड़कों को युद्धस्तर पर खोलने की जरूरत है, ताकि राहत कार्यों में लगे कार्मिकों एवं स्थानीय जनता को निर्बाध मार्ग उपलब्ध हो सके।

 

कैबिनेट मंत्री जोशी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों से समन्वय बनाकर कार्य किया जाए और संकट की इस घड़ी में जनभावनाओं का सम्मान करते हुए तेजी से समाधान उपलब्ध कराया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार आपदा की इस घड़ी में हर नागरिक के साथ खड़ी है और प्रत्येक संभव सहायता दी जा रही है। ग्राम्य विकास मंत्री ने बताया कि पीएमजीएसवाई की मशीनों को भी राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को खोलने के कार्य में लगा दिया गया है।

बैठक में यूआरआरडीए के मुख्य अभियंता ने जानकारी दी कि भारी वर्षा के कारण गढ़वाल क्षेत्र में कुल 81 सड़कें और कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में 50 सड़कें बंद हो चुकी हैं, जिन्हें प्राथमिकता के आधार पर खोला जा रहा है। साथ ही, धारचूला क्षेत्र में एक पुल के बह जाने की जानकारी भी दी गई, लेकिन यह भी बताया गया कि वहां वाहनों की आवाजाही के लिए अस्थायी वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था कर दी गई है।

 

बैठक में यूआरआरडीए के मुख्य अभियंता संजय कुमार पाठक समेत अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
