पीएम मोदी ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से उत्तराखंड को दी तीन आवासीय छात्रावासों की सौगात,धरती आबा जनजातीय ग्राम उत्कृष्ट अभियान के तहत 1055 लाख की लागत से बनेंगे छात्रावास,चमोली, देहरादून और ऊधमसिंहनगर के जनजातीय क्षेत्र के छात्रों को मिलेगा लाभ।

‘जनजातीय गौरव दिवस’ एवं धरती आबा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की 150वीं जयंती के अवसर पर गुजरात के नर्मदा जिले में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय समारोह के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज वर्चुअल माध्यम से उत्तराखंड में तीन आवासीय छात्रावासों के निर्माण कार्य का शिलान्यास किया। ये छात्रावास धरती आबा जनजातीय ग्राम उत्कृष्ट अभियान के तहत कुल रु.1055 लाख की लागत से बनाए जाएंगे।

 

इस अवसर पर राजकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय बनियावाला में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्यातिथि विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा जनजातीय समाज के उत्थान हेतु निरंतर अभूतपूर्व कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। छात्रावासों के निर्माण से दूरस्थ जनजातीय क्षेत्रों के आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर छात्र छात्राएं गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा के साथ आवासीय सुविधा प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।

डॉ रावत ने बताया कि योजना के तहत चमोली जनपद के माणा–घिंघराणा व देहरादून जिले के क्वांसी मे रु. 360-360 लाख की लागत से आवासीय छात्रावासों का निर्माण होगा, जबकि ऊधमसिंहनगर जनपद के झांकत में रु. 335 लाख की लागत से छात्रावास का निर्माण किया जाएगा।

 

डॉ. रावत ने इस अवसर पर समग्र शिक्षा वर्ष 2023–24 के अंतर्गत नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस आवासीय छात्रावास, बनियावाला के उच्चीकरण हेतु रु. 320 लाख की लागत से निर्मित नवीन भवन का लोकार्पण भी किया। साथ ही उन्होंने समग्र शिक्षा वर्ष 2025–26 के अंतर्गत राजकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय बनियावाला के उच्चीकरण हेतु स्वीकृत रु. 170 लाख की लागत से बनने वाले नवीन भवन का शिलान्यास भी किया।

 

शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार प्रदेश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। सरकार विद्यालयों में भौतिक संसाधनों के सुदृढ़ीकरण के साथ-साथ शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति और सुविधाओं का विस्तार लगातार कर रही है।

कार्यक्रम में एससीईआरटी निदेशक वंदना गर्ब्याल, निदेशक माध्यमिक शिक्षा डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती, निदेशक प्राथमिक शिक्षा अजय कुमार नौटियाल सहित अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी व बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।
