स्वस्थ नारी सशक्त परिवार अभियान के तहत प्रदेशभर में आयोजित स्वास्थ्य शिविरों में न केवल आम लोगों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया जा रहा है बल्कि गर्भवती महिलाओं को प्रसव पूर्व स्वास्थ्य संबंधी परामर्श भी दिया जा रहा है। अभियान के तहत अब तक 80 हजार से अधिक गर्भवती महिलाओं की एएनसी (एंटीनेटल केयर ) जांच की गई, जिसमें गर्भस्थ शिशु और मां के स्वास्थ्य का आंकलन किया गया।

 

स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि स्वस्थ नारी सशक्त परिवार अभियान के तहत प्रदेशभर में लगाये जा रहे स्वास्थ्य शिविरों में 80,515 गर्भवती महिलाओं की प्रसव पूर्व जांच की गई। जिसमें अल्मोड़ा जनपद में 2195, बागेश्वर 1131, चमोली 2285, चम्पावत 1758, देहरादून 15728, हरिद्वार 14472, नैनीताल 7853, पौड़ी 2375, पिथौरागढ़ 2067, रूद्रप्रयाग 1936, टिहरी 4650, ऊधमसिंह नगर 21509 तथा उत्तरकाशी में 2556 गर्भवती महिलाएं शामिल हैं। स्वास्थ्य शिविरों में इन महिलाओं की उच्च रक्तचाप, वजन, शारीरिक जांच, मुधमेह, एचआईवी व यूरीन के अलावा अन्य जांच की गई। इसके अलावा उच्च जोखिम गर्भधारण वाली महिलाओं की पहचान कर उन्हें आवश्यक चिकित्सीय परामर्श एवं सोनोग्राफी जांच कराने की सलाह दी गई। विशेषकर ऐसी महिलाओं को अतिरिक्त परामर्श दिया गया जिनका पहला प्रसव ऑपरेशन से हुआ हो, पहले गर्भपात या मृत शिशु का जन्म हुआ हो, जिनका वजन व ऊचांई कम हो, कम उम्र में गर्भधारण किया हो, गंभीर एनीमिया, उच्च रक्तचाप, मधुमेह या किसी अन्य गंभीर बीमारी से ग्रसित हो। इस दौरान डॉक्टरों ने गर्भवती महिलाओं को संतुलित आहार, नियमित दवा सेवन, हरी सब्जियां, दूध, सोयाबीन, फल, चना व गुड़ के सेवन पर बल दिया। एनीमिक महिलाओं को आयरन-फोलिक एसिड की गोलियां भी वितरित की।

 

विभागीय अधिकारियों ने बताया कि प्रदेश में मातृ-मृत्यु दर में कमी लाने के लिये राज्य सरकार खासी गंभीर है। इसके लिये स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा एएनएम, आशा कार्यकर्ताओं व आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं के माध्यम से गर्भवती महिलाओं को संस्थागत प्रसव के लिये लगातार प्रेरित किया जा रहा है, साथ ही प्रसव पूर्व जांच को बढ़ावा देने के लिये पंचायत स्तर पर काम किया जा रहा है।
