बीकेटीसी अध्यक्ष हेमंत द्विवेदी ने बताया कि बीकेटीसी श्री तुंगनाथ मंदिर के सरंक्षण एवं रखरखाव हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है।

वैज्ञानिक तथा औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (सीएसआईआर) दिल्ली तथा केंद्रीय भवन अनुसंधान संस्थान (सीबीआरआई) रुड़की तृतीय केदार श्री तुंगनाथ मंदिर के निर्माण और विकासात्मक गतिविधियों के लिए बद्रीनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति (बीकेटीसी) को विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट (डीपीआर) तैयार कर रही है और तकनीकी सहायता भी प्रदान करेगी।

भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण (एएसआई), भारतीय भू वैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण (जीएसआई) और सीबीआरआई द्वारा पहले भी श्री तुंगनाथ मंदिर क्षेत्र का दौरा किया जा चुका है‌।
