खेल अवस्थापनाओं को अब रजत जयंती खेल परिसर के नाम से जाना जाएगा : आर्या
देहरादून, । प्रदेश के चार शहरों में पूरे खेल ढांचे को एकीकृत करके उन्हें नया नाम दिया गया है। देहरादून के रायपुर स्थित सभी खेल अवस्थापनाओं को अब रजत जयंती खेल परिसर के नाम से जाना जाएगा।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि रजत जयंती खेल परिसर में रायपुर देहरादून स्थित महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज, राजीव गांधी इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम और अन्य सभी खेल अवस्थापनाएं शामिल होंगी। इसी तरह गौलापार हल्द्वानी स्थित इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, हॉकी ग्राउंड, तरण ताल, मल्टीपरपज हॉल व अन्य सभी खेल अवस्थनाओं को मिलाकर अब मानसखंड खेल परिसर के नाम से जाना जाएगा।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि रुद्रपुर स्थित मनोज सरकार स्टेडियम, साइकिलिंग वैलोड्रोम और अन्य खेल अवस्थनाओं को मिलाकर शिवालिक खेल परिसर नाम दिया गया है। इसी तरह हरिद्वार के रोशनाबाद स्थित वंदना कटारिया हॉकी स्टेडियम, मल्टीपरपज हॉल, तरण ताल और अन्य सभी खेल अवस्थनाओं को एकीकृत रूप से योगस्थली खेल परिसर के नाम से जाना जाएगा। खेल मंत्री ने बताया कि नई स्पोर्ट्स लिगेसी प्लान के तहत सरकार खेल परिसरों में कई नई सुविधाएं लाने की तैयारी कर रही है, यहां राष्ट्रीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की कोचों की नियुक्ति भी की जाएगी। इसे देखते हुए खेल परिसरों को एकीकृत किया गया है। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि स्पोर्ट्स लिगेसी प्लान के तहत देश के कई राज्यों के खेल ढांचे का अध्ययन कर सबसे बेहतर कोचिंग और सपोर्टिंग स्टाफ का स्ट्रक्चर तैयार किया गया है। इसमें साई जैसे संस्थानों की भी मदद ली जा रही है।
