रुद्रप्रयाग, । हाईवे के अधिकांश डेंजर जोनों को दुरुस्त करने के बाद केदारनाथ धाम और केदारघाटी की लाइफ लाइन केदारनाथ हाईवे पर यात्रा का संचालन सकुशल हो रहा है। जबकि कई डेंजर जोनों पर कार्य अंतिम चरण में है। बरसात के समय जिन डेंजर जोनों से खतरा पैदा हो सकता है, वहां पहले से ही जेसीबी और पोकलैंड मशीन तैनात हैं। इसके अलावा निरंतर इन जोनों की निगरानी की जा रही है। केदारनाथ हाईवे केदारनाथ धाम की यात्रा और केदारघाटी की लाइफ लाइन है. चारधाम परियोजना के कार्यों के बाद केदारनाथ हाईवे की स्थिति में अत्यधिक सुधार आया है। बेहद संकरा हाईवे चैड़ा होने से जाम की स्थिति से निजात मिली है। 16-17 जून 2013 की आपदा के सबसे अधिक दिक्कतें केदारनाथ हाईवे पर कुंड से गुप्तकाशी के बीच सफर करने में होती थी, लेकिन वर्ष 2024 की यात्रा से पहले कुंड से गुप्तकाशी के बीच लगभग लाठ किमी हाईवे का कायाकल्प हो चुका था। इसके अलावा हाईवे कई डेंजर जोनों का समाधान इस वर्ष की यात्रा शुरू होने से पहले किया जा चुका है।
