देहरादून, । मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन ने मंगलवार को सचिवालय में कैंचीधाम में यातायात व्यवस्था के सम्बन्ध में अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। मुख्य सचिव ने कैंचीधाम के लिए मास्टर प्लान तैयार किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कैंचीधाम में सप्ताहांत में लगने वाले जाम को देखते हुए इसके लिए व्यापक योजना तैयार किए जाने की आवश्यकता है।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कैंचीधाम बाजार की मुख्य सड़क का चौड़ीकरण एवं सुधारीकरण कार्य तत्काल शुरू किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए मिसिंग लिंक से बजट उपलब्ध कराया जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में कैंचीधाम में श्रद्धालुओं की अत्यधिक भीड़ बढ़ने की सम्भावना को देखते हुए कैंचीधाम के लिए मास्टर प्लान की सख्त आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने इसके लिए प्रस्ताव तैयार किए जाने के निर्देश दिए।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि स्थानीय लोगों के लिए वैकल्पिक मार्गों को सुदृढ़ किया जाए। जिनका चौड़ीकरण सम्भव हो किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि नए पार्किंग स्थल चिन्हित करते हुए विकसित किए जाए। धाम के लिए एक व्यवस्थित शटल सेवा शुरू की जाए। साथ ही मोबिलिटी प्लान तैयार किया जाए, ताकि वीकेंड में लगने वाले जाम को कंट्रोल किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि मोबिलिटी प्लान को लागू कराया जाना भी सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
बैठक के दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने तकनीक के प्रयोग को बढ़ाए दिए जाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पार्किंग आदि स्थलों में डिस्प्ले के माध्यम से यात्रियों को जानकारी उपलब्ध करायी जाए। सीसीटीवी कैमरों के माध्यम से रूट एवं भीड़ प्रबन्धन का कार्य किया जाए। साथ ही विभिन्न मार्गाे में वन-वे को प्रयोग किया जा सकता है। इस अवसर पर सचिव शैलेश बगोली, डॉ. पंकज कुमार पाण्डेय, आयुक्त कुमाऊं  दीपक रावत, आई.जी. कुमाऊ रिद्धिम अग्रवाल एवं जिलाधिकारी नैनीताल वंदना सिंह सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
