मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रदेश की मातृशक्ति अपनी क्षमता एवं दक्षता से राज्य का सम्मान तथा गौरव बढ़ा रही है। प्रदेश की समृद्ध एवं गौरवशाली परम्परा को आगे बढाने का दायित्व भी हमारी नारी शक्ति बखूबी निभा रही है। हमारी संस्कृति अर्द्धनारिश्वर की उपासना के साथ देवियों की पूजा की परम्परा रही है।

सोमवार को परमार्थ निकेतन, ऋषिकेश में भारतीय जनता पार्टी महिला मोर्चा उत्तराखण्ड की प्रदेश कार्य समिति की बैठक में प्रतिभाग करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने महिला शक्ति को महाशक्ति बताते हुए कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में तो स्त्री ही सृष्टि की समग्र अधिष्ठात्री है, क्योंकि नारी सृजनात्मक शक्ति का प्रतीक होने के साथ ही संस्कृति एवं परंपराओं की संवाहक होती हैं एवं आदिकाल से भारतीय संस्कृति में महिलाओं को काफी ऊंचा स्थान हासिल रहा है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, जीजाबाई, अहिल्याबाई होल्कर एवं सती सावित्री जैसी अनेक नारियों ने अपनी क्षमता के बूते समय-समय पर इसको प्रमाणित करने का कार्य किया। हमारी सांस्कृतिक विरासत में मां का स्थान सर्वश्रेष्ठ माना गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि देश के यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में आज भारत पुनः अपनी पुरातन विचार संस्कृति की ओर लौट रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज देश महिला विकास से आगे बढ़कर महिलाओं के नेतृत्व की बात कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि आप सभी महिला कार्यकर्ताओं पर प्रदेश की आधी आबादी के प्रतिनिधित्व की बहुत बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है, हमारे देश और प्रदेश की समृद्ध एवं गौरवशाली परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाने का महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व भी आप पर है। हमारी सरकार ने महिलाओं के कल्याण के लिए अभूतपूर्व कार्य किए है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे पास अपार उपलब्धियां और योजनाएं है और इन उपलब्धियों और योजनाओं को लेकर हर बहन तक पहुंचने की जिम्मेदारी महिला मोर्चा की है। उन्होंने कहा कि महिला मोर्चा लगातार पार्टी के कार्यक्रमों के साथ ही रचनात्मक और सामाजिक कार्यो में अग्रणी भूमिका निभा रहा है और उन्हें पूर्ण विश्वास है कि आगामी समय में महिला मोर्चा और भी महत्वपूर्ण कार्य करेगा। महिला शक्ति ही महाशक्ति है इसलिए महिला मोर्चा की आप सभी उत्साही कार्यकर्ता जब घर-घर संपर्क करेंगी तो जनता का हमारे प्रति विश्वास और अधिक मजबूत होगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज हमारी नारीशक्ति ने अपने कार्यों से, आत्मबल से और आत्मविश्वास से स्वयं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाया है। उन्होंने खुद को तो आगे बढ़ाया ही है, साथ ही देश और समाज को भी आगे बढ़ाने और एक नए मुकाम पर ले जाने का काम किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब देश में महिलाओं का हर क्षेत्र में सहयोग एवं योगदान बढ़ता है, तब देश का विकास सुनिश्चित हो जाता है। आखिर हमारा न्यू इंडिया का सपना यही तो है, जहां नारी सशक्त हो, सबल हो और देश के समग्र विकास में बराबर की भागीदार हो।
