पर्यटन समृद्धि और विकास योजनाओं का जायजा : मुख्य सचिव ने दिये दिशानिर्देश,मुख्य सचिव ने किया बस टर्मिनल, मायावती आश्रम, कोलीढेक झील और एबट माउण्ट का निरीक्षण।
आनन्द बर्द्धन, मुख्य सचिव, उत्तराखण्ड शासन ने आज चम्पावत जनपद में विभिन्न स्थलों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण कर विकास, पर्यटन गतिविधियों को गति देने हेतु विस्तृत समीक्षा की।
सबसे पहले मुख्य सचिव ने बस टर्मिनल चम्पावत का निरीक्षण किया। निर्माणदायी संस्था सीएनडीएस के अधिशासी अभियंता श्री गिरीश पंत ने प्रस्तावित बस टर्मिनल की समग्र जानकारी प्रस्तुत की। मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए कि टर्मिनल के भीतर वाहनों की सुव्यवस्थित आंतरिक आवाजाही (इनसाइड सर्कुलेशन) सुनिश्चित की जाए तथा यात्रियों की सुविधाओं को प्राथमिकता दी जाए।
इसके बाद मुख्य सचिव ने मायावती आश्रम का भ्रमण किया, जहाँ स्वामी दिव्य कृपानंद जी ने उन्हें आश्रम के विभिन्न स्थलों का अवलोकन कराया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस क्षेत्र में आध्यात्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विशेष प्रयास किए जाएँ।
मुख्य सचिव ने कोलीढेक झील का निरीक्षण कर इसे आध्यात्मिक क्षेत्र (स्पिरिचुअल ज़ोन) तथा योग व वेलनेस हब के रूप में विकसित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने मत्स्य विभाग को महाशीर मछली संरक्षण हेतु भी आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने के निर्देश दिए।
इसके उपरांत उन्होंने एबट माउण्ट का निरीक्षण किया और इसे पर्यटन की दृष्टि से अत्यंत संभावनाशील क्षेत्र बताया। उन्होंने एबट माउण्ट से दिखाई देने वाली हिमालय की भव्य श्रृंखलाओं का अवलोकन किया तथा ऐतिहासिक चर्च व पूरे क्षेत्र की सम्पूर्ण जानकारी ली।
निरीक्षण के दौरान कुमाऊं मंडलायुक्त दीपक रावत, जिलाधिकारी मनीष कुमार, पुलिस अधीक्षक अजय गणपति, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी डॉ. जी.एस. खाती, अपर जिलाधिकारी कृष्णनाथ गोस्वामी सहित विभिन्न विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी एवं कार्मिक उपस्थित रहे।
