आज दिनांक 17 अप्रैल 2023 को राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन बी0एस0 नेगी राजकीय इण्टर कालेज गुजराडा, देहरादून में माननीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत ने किया। वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुडे स्वास्थ्य मंत्री की मौजूदगी में विद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं को पेट के कीड़े मारने की दवा एल्बेंडाजोल अन्य गणमान्य अतिथियों द्वारा खिलाई गई।
मा. स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि प्रदेशभर में 17 अप्रैल 2023 को राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस एवं 20 अप्रैल 2023 को मॉप-अप दिवस का आयोजन राज्य के सभी 13 जनपदों में किया जा रहा है। राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस कार्यक्रम- अप्रैल 2023 चरण के दौरान राज्य के सभी लक्षित 1-19 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के 38.36 लाख बच्चों को पेट के कीड़े मारने की दवा अल्बेंडाजॉल प्रशिक्षित शिक्षकों एवं आंगनबाडी कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा खिलायी जायेगी। 17 अप्रैल 2023 को किसी कारणवश कृमि नाशक दवा खाने से वंचित रह गये बच्चों को मॉप-अप दिवस 20 अप्रैल 2023 को कृमि नाशक दवा खिलाई जायेगी। निजी शिक्षण संस्थॉनों एवं शहरी, पी0एच0सी0 के अतंर्गत अगम्य व मलिन बस्तियों/क्षेत्रों में भी यह अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया राज्य में अब तक हम राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस के तेरह चरणों का सफल आयोजन कर चुके हैं। पिछले चरण अक्टूबर 2022 में 1-19 वर्ष के 34.27 लाख बच्चों को कृमिनाशक की दवा खिलाई गई थी। अब हमारा लक्ष्य है कि हम राज्य के शत प्रतिशत बच्चों को कृमिनाशक दवा खिलाकर उनको कृमि मुक्त करें तथा स्वस्थ उत्तराखण्ड़ के निर्माण में एक और कदम आगे बढ़ें।
माननीय मंत्री जी ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में, चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग द्वारा महिलाओं, किशोर-किशोरियों व बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य से जुडे़ विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य व पोषण विषयों पर कार्य करना हमारी प्रमुख जिम्मेदारी हैं। बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य व पोषण सुधार हेतु निंरतर प्रयास करने के बाद भी इस दिशा में और अधिक सार्थक प्रयास करने की आवश्यकता है।
कार्यक्रम में मौजूद विशिष्ट अतिथि, रायपुर विधायक श्री उमेश शर्मा काऊ ने भी स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं को पेट के कीड़े मारने की दवा एल्बेंडाजोल खिलाई। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का स्वास्थ्य विभाग बच्चों व किशोर-किशोरियों के स्वास्थ्य को सुधारने के लिए लगातार प्रतिबद्ध है और सतत प्रयासरत है।
उन्होंने कहा, ’राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस’ की कई विशेषताएं है जो सराहनीय हैं। पूरी दुनिया में आंगनबाड़ी और स्कूल स्तर पर की जाने वाली कृमि मुक्ति को सराहा गया हैं क्योंकि ये सुरक्षित, आसान और अत्यंत किफायती हैं। हमारे पास शिक्षक और आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं के रूप में एक ऐसी सेना मौजूद है, जो प्रशिक्षण के बाद सुरक्षित और फायदेमंद अल्बेंडाजोल गोली बच्चों को खिला सकते हैं। ’राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस’ में आंगनबाड़ी और स्कूलों एवं अन्य शिक्षण संस्थानों के माध्यम से हम 1 से 19 वर्ष के बच्चों तक पहुंच पायें।
एन0एच0एम0 निदेशक डा. सरोज नैथानी ने बताया कि राज्य में राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन विगत 2016 से लगातार किया जा रहा है। हम सब जानते है कि बच्चो में कृमि संक्रमण का उनके स्वास्थ्य व पोषण पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ता है। तथा उनके शैक्षणिक विकास मे भी बाधा आती है। इन बाधाओं को बच्चों से दूर करने का एक बेहतर उपाय है कि हम बच्चों को वर्ष में दो बार कृमिनाशक की दवा अल्बेंन्डाजोल अवश्य खिलवायें। दवापूर्ण रूप से सुरक्षित है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग दवा की गुणवत्ता मानकों को विशेष रूप से सुनिश्चित करती है।
उन्होंने बताया अप्रैल 2023 के चरण हेतु, स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा पर्याप्त गोलियों का क्रय व गुणवत्ता की जॉच कराकर, समस्त आंगनवाडी केन्द्रों एवं शिक्षण संस्थानों को उपलब्ध करा दी गई है। राज्य के स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों व कर्मियों को आवश्यक प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है तथा इस कार्य के लिए आवश्यक बजट, सामग्री व संसाधन भी उपलब्ध कराए गए है। लगभग सभी जनपदों मे जिला अधिकारीयों की अध्यक्षता जिला समन्वय समिति की बैठकें सम्पन हो गयी है।
कार्यक्रम में डा. सुनिता टम्टा, निदेशक, स्वास्थ्य सेवा महानिदेशालय ने कहा कि 1-19 वर्षीय समस्त बच्चों को कृमि मुक्त करने हेतु एल्बेण्डाज़ॉल की गोली निःशुल्क उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं, ताकि बच्चों एवं किशोर/किशोरियों मे कृमि के कारण होने वाले अनीमिया तथा कुपोषण पर नियंत्रण किया जा सके। प्रतिकूल घटनाओं से निपटने के लिए विभाग द्वारा 108 आपातकालीन सेवा की सभी एम्बुलेंस को एवं राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम (आर.बी.एस.के.) की टीमों को हाई अलर्ट पर रखा गया है। ध्यान रहे कि कभी-कभी आंत में अधिक कृमि होने के कारण गोली खाने के उपरांत कुछ बच्चों को मामूली प्रतिकूल लक्षण जैसे की जी मिचलाना, पेट में हल्का दर्द या उल्टी, दस्त हो सकते है जो स्वतः कुछ समय में ठीक हो जाते है।
