देहरादून/खटीमा, । मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भारत-नेपाल सीमा पर स्थित 57 वाहिनी, सशस्त्र सीमा बनबसा का दौरा किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने सशस्त्र सुरक्षा बल (एसएसबी.) के अधिकारियों एवं जवानों से मुलाकात की। मुख्यमंत्री ने एस.एस.बी. जवानों के अदम्य साहस, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और अनुशासन की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि सीमाओं की सुरक्षा में तैनात हमारे जवान देश की शान हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत-नेपाल सीमा पर सतर्कता बनाए रखना अत्यंत आवश्यक है और इसके लिए राज्य सरकार, केंद्र सरकार एवं सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के साथ पूर्ण समन्वय में कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सीमाएं, हमारे सुरक्षाबलों की सहायता से पूरी तरह अभेद्य हैं और इनकी सुरक्षा सर्वाेच्च प्राथमिकता है।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने सीमा चौकियों की अवस्थापना सुविधाओं, संचार व्यवस्था और जवानों के लिए उपलब्ध अन्य सुविधाओं की जानकारी प्राप्त की और आवश्यक सुधारों हेतु संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने माणा जैसे सीमावर्ती गांवों को “प्रथम गांव” की संज्ञा दी है, जो राष्ट्र की सीमाओं और संस्कृति की पहली पहचान हैं। इन गांवों और सीमाओं की रक्षा में जुटे सभी जवानों को उन्होंने धन्यवाद दिया। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने जवानों से वार्ता भी की, उनकी समस्याओं, अनुभवों और ज़मीनी परिस्थितियों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी प्राप्त की।
