गृह मंत्रालय भारत सरकार एवं मुख्य सचिव, उत्तराखण्ड शासन से प्राप्त निर्देशों के अनुपालन में नागरिक सुरक्षा के तैयारियों के सुदृढीकरण हेतु -07 मई 2025 को सायं 4 बजे जनपद देहरादून के अंतर्गत 05 स्थानों धारा पुलिस चौकी, ब्लाईंड स्कूल राजपूर रोड़, लख्खीबाग पुलिस स्टेशन, जिलाधिकारी परिसर क्लैक्ट्रेट देहरादून, एमडीडीए कालोनी निकर्ट आइएएसबीटी, आईएसबीटी,  आराघर पुलिस चौकी, में सायरन/हूटर बजाकर लोगों का सतर्क किया जायेगा।  हवाई हमले के दौरान सतर्कता बरतने एवं बचाव के लिए यह मॉक अभ्यास आयोजित किया जा रहा है। हवाई हमले के दौरान सतर्कता बरतने नागरिकों को सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत आयोजित किया जा रहा है, इसका उद्देश्य सिविल डिफेंस सहित आईआरएस सिस्टम को सक्रिय रखना तथा संभावित आपदा बाहरी आक्रमण के दौरान किस प्रकार सुरक्षा के उपाय किये जाने हैं के लिए जनमानस/नागरिकों जागरूक करना है। इस दौरान सायरन बजा कर हवाई हमले से बचने की मॉक अभ्यास करवायी जा रही है, ताकि आम जनमानस संभावित आपदाओं से निपटने के लिए मानसिक रूप से अलर्ट रहें तथा आपदाओं के दौरान सुरक्षित रहें। इस दौरान उक्त स्थानों पर बिजली की सप्लाइ बंद कर दी जायेगी साथ ही ट्रैफिक डाईवर्ट भी किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने समस्त जनपद देहरादून नागरिकों से अनुरोध है कि नागरिक सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत यह केवल अभ्यास मात्र है, इस दौरान आप आपने घरों में बने रहे एवं अनावश्यक गतिविधि न करें। किसी भी प्रकार की अफवाह पर ध्यान न दे, यदि कोई अफवाह फैलाता हुया पाया जाता है, तो निकटवर्ती थाने/पुलिस चौकी से संपर्क करें।
